The Arab Network for Political Science, in cooperation with the University of the Southern Mediterranean in Tunisia, announces an invitation to doctoral students, faculty members, and researchers of political and social sciences to submit research papers to participate in a workshop on political transformation in Tunisia: Implications for the current situation and future prospects . The first part of the program will be held via Zoom on 20-21 July 2022 , with the second part to be held in the fall and hosted by the Southern Mediterranean University in Tunisia.
We encourage all those working on one of the topics or questions listed above to apply, especially those who reside in the Arab world. Selectees are expected to participate in at least the first workshop, with the second workshop devoted to revising papers for publication. Everyone must submit an updated CV and a 500-word research proposal in English or Arabic that summarizes the paper’s content and outlines the research and methodological questions. The deadline for applications is May 26, 2022 . Applicants will be notified in early June , with full papers (between 3,000 – 5,000 words) to be sent on July 10 so that the organizers and interviewees can view and interact with them.
