Job Opportunity: Senior Analyst

CyberPoint International is seeking a senior analyst for their Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates office.

As a senior analyst with CyberPoint, you will initiate research programs and develop innovative deliverables to meet a range of client needs. A senior analyst should be adept at strategic thinking, able to embrace challenges, engage with clients and other stakeholders, able to focus on clients and products, committed to continuous learning, and effective at working collaboratively.


  • You will apply your skills to research, review, evaluate, interpret, and analyze complex or contradictory information.
  • You will solve practical problems by using a variety of structured analytical techniques or research methodologies, applying technical solutions where applicable.
  • You will serve as the senior analyst on a topical team in close collaboration with the customer.
  • You will manage one or more projects.
  • You may be responsible for managing all aspects of a research project, including research design and methodology, budget development, assigning roles and responsibilities to other analysts, and designing final deliverables.
  • You will be responsible for mentoring and training junior colleagues on relevant research procedures and processes.


  • Candidates should be comfortable in fast-paced, sometimes difficult environment. They should be able to perform well under pressure on multiple high priority requirements, deal with changing priorities and tight deadlines, and follow through on tasks to completion.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field.
  • A Master’s degree is required.
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in research and writing; excellence in both written and oral communication.
  • Possess problem solving skills and willingness to take the initiative in exploring and implementing new methods/processes.
  • Ability to propose and initiate unique research products in support of client needs.
  • Ability to set and achieve appropriate goals both independently and on multi-functional, cross-organizational team.
  • Expertise in one or more specified geographical areas or functional specialties, including Middle East security and politics, international relations, and military science.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Prior experience in training or teaching is desirable.
  • Prior experience working overseas is desirable.
  • Facility in an additional language is highly desirable.
