Programme Coordinator, PeaceRep Iraq
Salary from £28,240 to £31,527 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £33,753 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment until 31 March 2023 with the possibility of extension
The Middle East Centre produces world-leading research on the societies, politics and economies of the Middle East and North Africa. The Centre seeks to hire an enthusiastic and proactive professional to coordinate the work of the Peace and Conflict Resolution Evidence Platform Iraq, a research programme examining peace and transition processes in Iraq.
Candidates should have:
· Experience of project administration
· Experience of financial administration
· Knowledge of the field of Middle East studies and ideally of Iraq
The postholder will provide comprehensive administration for all PeaceRep Iraq activities, including budgets, contracts, fieldwork, publications, communications and grant reporting. The postholder will also provide administrative support to other MEC projects for approximately one day per week.
