The Arab Center for Research and Policy Studies (ACRPS) is now accepting applications for the fourth round of the Conference for Arab Graduate Students in Western Universities (AGSC), to be held from 2-4 March 2024, in Doha, Qatar. The registration is open for Arab PhD students in advanced stages of their dissertation and for recent PhD graduates.
The conference will provide Arab doctoral students and recent PhD graduates of the social sciences and humanities based at Western universities an open space to present papers based on their PhD theses and receive critical feedback and will give the participants an opportunity to better acquaint themselves with an Arab research agenda as well as to create collegial, professional networks within the Arab region.
The ACRPS will accept applications through the online form and accompanied by a research proposal (500 words) and an up-to-date academic CV no later than 1 August 2023. All conference requirements, structure, and deadlines can be found on the conference page in Arabic or English.
Registration for the conference is free. The ACRPS will provide accommodation for all participants throughout the duration of the conference.
