Evidence in Governance and Politics (EGAP) is looking to add a small number of new researcher members to its network. The goal for this new researcher membership round is to continue to expand the EGAP network to include scholars with a diversity of backgrounds and perspectives. EGAP is particularly interested in promoting voices from the Global South and researchers focused on regions that are currently underrepresented in the organization. This membership round will be open to researchers from across disciplines and follow the general procedures described in the EGAP by laws.
Individual researcher members of EGAP are researchers who have either achieved distinction or display great promise in the design, implementation, or analysis of experiments on politics and governance.
As part of this membership round, EGAP will, for the first time, be asking applicants to indicate their preferred EGAP Thematic Group (Conflict; Elections, Representation & Participation; Institutions & Governance; and Poverty & Inequality), based on the applicant’s research interests and expertise (see application for more details). For this reason, we ask that scholars who have previously applied to join the network in past rounds re-apply by filling out this year’s application.
For questions or comments please contact EGAP’s Membership & Meetings Manager, Max Mendez-Beck (email@example.com).
Deadline for submission: January 7th, 2020
