#10 – December 10, 2012. The George Washington University’s Marc Lynch, director of the Project on Middle East Political Science, speaks with Kristin Smith Diwan, Assistant Professor of Comparative and Regional Studies at the American University School of International Service. Diwan is a regional expert in the politics and policies of the Arab Gulf, and functional expert on Islamic finance and the politics surrounding it. Lynch and Diwan discuss Kuwait’s recent parliamentary elections and protest movements.
