#8 – November 16, 2012.The George Washington University’s Marc Lynch, director of the Project on Middle East Political Science, speaks with Jillian Schwedler, professor of political science at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and moving to Hunter College in fall 2013. She is the author of Faith in Moderation: Islamist Parties in Jordan and Yemen and is currently working on a new book on protests in Jordan. Lynch and Schwedler discuss recent unrest in Jordan and the history of protest in the country.
